I think it does.The military taught me a lot and re inforced some things I was taught as a child.
We learn as a non commisioned officer in the Military to weed out the hype and non productive personell,and learn quickly how to determine this.
We are also taught how to be a tactful leader,to have our subordinates follow our orders willingly and with respect,this is the kind of respect that will not let u down on the battlefield when you need them the most.
I always said that demanded respect will let you down,earned respect will always be there.I still live that way today for I will always be a soldier.
I will not knowling mislead anyone,will always stand by what I say,and will be here if needed.
